Sondra Kretschmar

I am a multi-disciplinary artist who creates paintings, stained glass, sculptures, collages, mosaics, and assemblages. I enjoy working with oils, acrylic gouache, ink, stained glass, fabric, and various forms of sculpture and collage made from found objects. Many of my sculptures, mosaics, and ornaments are made with glass that I've recovered from our beautiful San Marcos River. 

My most recent public arts commission is a tri-panel stained glass installation at the San Marcos Public Library honoring internationally recognized artist, Bill Hutson. It was commissioned by the San Marcos Arts Commission during my tenure as co-owner of River City Glassworks.

My current focus is on Esaltare Arts, my stained glass studio that specializes in custom commissioned stained glass design and fabrication, along with repairs and restorations for commercial and residential spaces.
