“While photography is the medium that paid the bills, I have retired from that art form so that I can devote my time to working in pencil, ink, oils and sculpture.”  Most of Cecilia’s current paintings are created with the combination of aerosol sprays and oil paints.

Cecilia’s motto to live by is to “Fear No Art.”

Robyn Crowell

The Houston based artist’s collection, “Collective Premonitions” is described by the artist as “a transparent journey through my mind” and is inspired by famous cubist Pablo Picasso. “I am probably the biggest Picasso fan you will ever meet” says Crowell, “I also am greatly influenced by Joan Miro and Juan Gris. I would love to create freely like Joan Mitchell. She revolutionized Modern Art for the world and women”.

Robyn Crowell has been the cover story for the Pecan Grove neighborhood magazine and on the front page in a local newspaper, as well as the Houston Voyage Magazine. Crowell recently directed one of the biggest juried art shows in Sugar Land, Texas with over 26 Houston artists. “Art brings people together” says Crowell, “From this event I brought to life an Artist Club called The Mad Masters. We are an artist guild that learns, supports and networks with each other to promote success and encouragement for one another.”
