Nancy Brown

About the artist…

Nancy’s work reflects her fascination with light and dark.

Although the subjects vary widely- from flowers to glass and crystal, from painting the beach to horses - the underlying theme involves light and shadows, darkness and light. She works primarily in transparent watercolors with an occasional foray into mixed media. She also enjoys linoleum block printing and most recently learning to work with stained glass.

Nancy recently retired to San Marcos from Austin, where she worked as a Human Resources Director and more recently as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
